回答（賛成の立場）
Nowadays, the number of foreigners living in Japan has increased rapidly. Some insist that the Japanese government should stop the immigration, from fear that they may not blend with our traditional custom. However, I strongly believe that these immigrants are necessary for Japan.
Firstly, the immigrants can assist with improving the economy. Japanese economy has been growing recently and some industries struggle with a lack of workforces. For example, it is difficult for many restaurants to hire enough Japanese staff, so they are trying to hire more foreign people to cover. Thus, more immigrants are needed for the growth of Japanese economy.
Secondly, these immigrants play important roles to make innovation in Japan. To illustrate, Japanese manufacturing companies are trying to create new products to expand their business, and are relying on employees from foreign countries to give them ideas. They have different perspectives from Japanese people, so their ideas lead to making unique products. Therefore, immigrants are necessary for the innovation.
Finally, the immigrants can help increase the number of visitors from overseas. For instance, if foreigners live in Japan, their families and friends would come to see them. This stimulates the tourism industry in Japan. As a result, shops and restaurants can generate more profit.
In conclusion, the Japanese government should take measures to encourage immigration more. The immigrants can help to solve the shortage of workforce, to make innovations, and to stimulate Japanese tourism.
